My name is Karsten Hoffmeyer I am enthusiastic about wikis since I first started editing German Wikipedia in March 2004. I very much like the MediaWiki wiki engine which allows running Semantic MediaWiki as this very wiki does. I am active on numerous wikis in the so-called "wikiverse".

Professionally I provide hosting, services, and consulting for MediaWiki and Semantic MediaWiki since 2011. In 2019 I founded Professional.Wiki, a company seeking to bring services and consulting for MediaWiki to new customer groups. On April 26, 2022 state-of-the-art wiki hosting is being offered by ProWiki, which brings many benefits to MediaWiki hosting.
